*Yawn* Meet-up with Rachel at 7.05am (Wlds Stn). It’s one of the rare occasion when I was punctual that day. Haha. We head down to City Hall – Conrad Centennial Hotel for the 1st OCBC cycle volunteers briefing. We are the Road Marshals, scheduled on 7 March (1am-1pm) shift. Rather draggy briefing, plus the weather is so tempting to… sleep. Haha.
Belated Vday Celebration – 20 February 2010
11am – Meet up with Wee at City Hall. And the journey shall begin.. This time I’m planning for the day’s event and wee for the night time program.
I brought him to Joaqium for the Porridge Buffet. The food is average I should say, limited variety but I would expect much for the cheap price of S$12.90 per pax. Stayed till about 12.30pm, we headed to VivoCity. We reached rather early cos I didn’t plan to leave the buffet so fast.
Hanging around at Vivo, went Daiso to buy a bottle green tea (It’s the normal green tea served in Sakae, except its chilled). I have already paid through the internet-booking system the night before. So I just go over to the ‘Gold Class’ counter with the red carpet. So cool~!! I’m the 2nd person to the counter, while the rest of the customers are in the long queue. I bought the “Valentine’s Day” at VivioCity Gold Class, 3.30pm. The feeling of rich, I should say is how I feel when I stepped in the Waiting lounge for the show. A small bar at the side with comfy chairs around. Wee ordered a glass of red wine. Haha. He really do know how to enjoy life =)
After awhile, we proceeded to the theatre 1 for our show. Inclined chairs with blanket, with “Gold Class” wordings. This is the 1st time I been in the “Gold Class” theatre, and also the 1st time I couldn’t lie on his shoulder while watching the show cos the chairs are separated. *Day-dreaming if there’s one day I can take the First Class seat for Airline* The movie is alright, talks about how couple celebrate Valentine’s day etc. A little touching on the elderly couple part.
After the movie, we rushed back to Suntec again. Alighted at Dhoby Ghaut and booked a cab to ‘chiong’ faster cos .. my last activity of the day will start at 6.30pm and its already 6.10pm on my watch. Luckily, we made it in time. The last activity is the… Hippobus! It’s a n hour activity. It’s my 2nd time (1st time is with besties for Dar’s bday). Indeed Nassim Road is a high security district cos lots of high profile people stay there. We past through a couple of bungalows with very grand status and structure, I should say it may be where the MPs live.
My program official ends at 7.30pm. We hang around at the Suntec Mall, make wishes at the Wealth Fountain together. I thought we gonna have our dinner at Kuishinbo (though we have been there couple of times, I still love the food there!!) but Wee went in to the Swiss Culture Restaurant. We ordered the popular Cheese Fondae to share. I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich while wee ordered a chicken dish (also one of their recommended). It’s the first time I tried the Cheese Fondae! So Cool and Interesting!!
It is thick initially, then it becomes oily.. Cos the fats from the cheese melts and separates from the solid. I like the bread of my sandwich and of cos wee’s dish is delicious too! The crunchy rosti with the yummy salad. Its about 9pm, and I thought we are going home cos rather fatigue by then. Wee brought me to the River Hongbao, thought I gonna miss this year’s performance. Thanks wee! As published in the news there’s two special lanterns - malt sugar dragon and porcelain dragon and phoenix. Plus, there’s Uncle Ringo too. I wanna play the Vortex (360 deg turn) but the queue was long and just after dinner so.. I gave that a go.. looking forward to the Universal Studio!
Home sweet home. Wee sent me home at abt 11pm. A long interesting day! Happy belated Valentine’s day, my boy !

its has been like a year since i last update my blog.. time flies, i have been in this company for 1 year 3 months.
Was talking with hani about how to celebrate our coming 3 years anniversary. Recalling how we celebrate the past events like birthday, Vday etc. Till now, I still cant remember how you celebrate my bday for me. *hahaha* I remember you gave me my 1st branded tote bag – Ralph Lauren. I love it boy, thank you. Very sweet. I wore the blue tube dress you bought for me at Dorthy Perkins on my 21st birthday.
I still remember you bought me a black dress for Vday’09. A dress I tried on and you found slightly short, but still give in a bought as surprise for me!! I gave you a set of facial care products like facial wash, masks etc. Haha. Cos you said you wanna improve your skin condition.
Our 3yrs anniversary coming up.. how should we celebrate? Let’s brainstorm.. plus plus.. someone’s 21st birthday coming up too!!! Oooo.. so exciting.. gonna crack my brain double!!

Ok, updated my anniversary post. Now is on.. my hani's bday celebration..

Happy 20th birthday, Wee!
Its my call, me being the event planner of the day. Stress. Cos i took several weeks before confirmed to this plan. So hopefully, you enjoyed the day =D
We actually celebrated on Sunday (21 Sept), the day before the actual. Met in the afternoon, and had our lunch at Pastamania Causeway. You tried the Carbonara, and me Tuna & Bacon. Nicenice! Got a few more stamps on my loyalty card.
Next, we head down to Boon Lay to take a bus to Singapore Discovery Centre. It’s the first time we been there, quite interesting as there are several events going on. We first bought our movie tickets (Thanks Mum, for lending me your NTUC card for discounts!) We chose the Animal show. (forgot the exact title) as it’s a package, we got a short documentary show for free. The free movie is on the cold artic, on the deer trail.
We toured around the discovery exhibition; it’s mainly on defense Singapore and the uniqueness of Singaporeans. There’s even a short video made on what makes us Singaporean. Interesting!! There are games that are played on large screen too! With me and wee definitely best team mates, managed to solve most of the games. Wee even get a chance to be a news reporter on screen. It can be recorded and play back to participants. So cute t0 see him reporting! Haha. The exhibition hall is so big we didn’t managed to explore all, but most only cos we are rushing for the 1st Animal movie.
It’s a 3D movie, where we get special glasses to enjoy the ultimate. But of cos, nth can be compared to the one me & my bestfrenZ had at Disneyland HongKong. That is best, man~!! Haha. But this is still ok lah, I tried with wee at Sentona (Cineblast) that is also better than this cos at least the chair can move. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed. =D Its an interesting show, where “we” look at the world in the eyes of animal. We were once bee, leopard, owl etc. Nice. After the movie, we went to have a look at the shooting gallery. Its rather small, and hmm.. we decided not to spend money on that.. Yes, they used real machine guns (not quite sure of the model), but shooting is in laser and just like for small kids, so Nono.
We back to the exhibit again to ‘touch-up’ on those that we have explored. After which, we went to bus the hourly shuttle-bus to SAFTI. Its actually a leisure and training purpose Army zone, we get to tour around their campus. Something like what I had at Tekong. The tour guide will explain to us the different areas, and yes, Officer Cadet School (OCS) is located there too. Hee, sry hani though its your day off we still touch on sth abt NS.
After the journey, we get to alight at an Army museum where we experience the world war season; the furniture, equipments and environment. The best part is we get to see.. hmm.. I dunno how to phrase. Its like inside a small warehouse-cum-exhibit. Suddenly, black-out with spotlight on certain military equipment and video streaming on the 360° wide-screen. As the ‘helicopter landed in the screen’, you experience big wind blowing and dust-cum-sand on the floor blowing up. When there’s booming, you can to see, feel and smell the gunshot via the fake cannon. Very interesting! Along the journey, wee also shared with me his life in camp.
Next up, we head to Raffles City and had Soup Spoon. 1st time, wee tried. I had before in T2 Transit le. Its recommended! We made it a set, wee had the mushroom, mine is minestrone. We had the rosemary chicken sandwich and tandoori chicken wrap. Yummy! As it happens to be the F1 season, when we are leaving the place, we could hear car zooming loudly! So exciting! Was praying the next destination could hear too. (will explain later, read-on)
Finally, the last destination of the day. It’s a full-action packed day actually cos time is running out with the long traveling time. We reached Clark Quay, walked along the Singapore River, and clever you! Know what we are doing next. Bumboat ride! Actually, I planned for the Hippo Boat, new modern version of the Bumboat. But cos is the F1 season, it closes early and the timing I went is only for those with the F1 tickets. Good Job! Now, we have to walk walk around. Everything run smoothly, now that this issue came up. Nevermind, we went to the traditional bumboat service. Bought our tickets and here we come! Nice, romantic and educational trip around.
The bumboat went to the Merlion, and oh my! The spectators for the Grand Prix are a lot, with day-light spotlight on. Very bright, tried to take some pictures but with the handphone camera, the spotlight is too bright to handle. Was hoping to here the zoom-zoom sound, but … yea, except those that wee made to comfort me, is nth. Haha. Very nice ride though, cos can see the preparation of the Grand Prix in another angle. After which, then I know why, cos the qualifying round has started!! It actually starts when we alight the boat, so we board too early le. I didn’t know that until the actual one.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention about my gift. Bough wee this facial kit (picked by me) got BodyShop Tea Tree gelstick, Loreal facial cleanser and mask. With Vit C and Tea Tree, so is good for the skin. Hope you like.

Happy 2years Anniversary! Yes, we made it! Took PM leave to celebrate with hani in the afternoon. But.. but.. suppose to be off-work at 12.30pm, have lots of stuff to finish before i can clock-off. Damn! As i was on full-day course previous day (feedback reply course), previous friday also on PM leave to celebrate Mum's bday. So naturally it means.. work piling up.
I rushed thru my work, without having breakfast (no time!!) and managed to go off at.. 3pm. Zzz. So sorry, hani. Wasnt expecting stuff to be due so rush. Next we head down to Sakae at Park Mall. Had a lunch buffet. So sweet, cos i actually wanna eat the buffet very long le, but no time to eat with hani. The food is nice and filling. (this is hani's plan for lunch)
Now come my turn. (in case, you dun understand. We normally will plan separately the day event - surprise for one another. Hee.) I took Wee to play Wii @ Cineleisure Level 9, thanks to my bestfrenZ who brought me there at my bday. Nice nice. His 1st and my 2nd time to play Wii. We played Mario Party and Wii Sports. Haha. Till about 7plus, we left and proceed to the next venue.
Drizzling. spolit my plan. Cos actually wanna take the river boat as hani is the 1st (i think?) taking such trip. Nvm, i took him for high tea instead. Lol. drinking tea at evenings. Went to Royal Copenhagen Cafe inside Takashimaya. Chose a nice spot where we can see the ppl walking by etc. Me chose Ceylon tea pot and hani chose hot Cappuccino. Taste good.
After resting a while, we decided to head home. Busy yet nice day with hani. Hmm.. sth is missing? Yes. our anniversary gift. Haha. The gift was given on a later date as agreed by both.
*I gave him a personalised Ez-Link card (with our photos! I have 1 for myself too. Hee) and he gave me a Precious Thots figure (a cute boy seems waiting for something with a little cute lamb with him). So sweet!*

4-6 July (Friday to Sunday)
Chalet~ Ooo.. it has been 4 years since our last Fuchun Gathering Chalet. Happily after work, I had to rush home and tried my best to reach home ASAP around 6.45pm. After changed, rushed out again to meet Wee at Woodlands stn took 168 down to Tampines, cos we figured out it’s the fastest way. Mum bought me this Jap-style with dried fish flakes and tuna filling bread. Yummy~ Another reason to rush cos we wanna catch the 8.15pm Aloha shuttle bus. Again, we walked quickly to the pick-up point and reached at… say 8.16pm? And caught no sign of the shuttle bus. Zzz. Very punctual indeed that bus. In the end, we took bus to the Downtown East.
I can hear the food calling me. LOL. Thinking that it’s the usual Aloha Loyang, we alighted and walked about 15-20 mins from the bus stop cos there’s no direct bus. Good. Finally we reached, happily we went to search for the chalet. Lost. We went to the reception to ask for direction. AND.. we are at the wrong place. Its actually at Downtown East, which in other words.. the place where we alighted the bus stop! Haha. Another 15-20 mins but going back seems faster, maybe cos it’s a romantic walk with hani.. *wink*
Yeah! Paid the $1 entrance and yes! We found them, already eating. Haha. One of my fren very enthu BBQing for us, so we ate little only cos very tired from all the walk already. So nice, we were talking about what happens in our sec life. Cos we actually come from different classes and finally met during our sec 3 & 4. My class arh.. very friendly, and straight forward, playful and cheeky.. Haha. And I enjoy being with them =) Tok abt how we bully the poor gal (Erene), about those teachers, how we hid the text books etc.. I really miss the sec4 life.. I dun mind taking O level.. cos its just so different in other school, in my poly… =) I love u guys!
In the mingling session, I happened to found out that Sabrina’s bf also once a St.John and also Zone 6 and also attended the same promotion course. Haha. But I cant really remember who is he, just find him familiar. After all the eating, we went back to the room and chit chat while some bathed 1st. The guys… Zzz.. >_<” as usual playful in the toilet. LOL. Next, we went E!Hub for movie watching. Supposed to watch the “Hancock” at 2.10am, was kinda early so we went beach 1st while waiting for those who needa check for their car coupons. Toktok etc. Later when Mac buy ice-cream (mine is oreo macflurry) nice.
Nice movie and funny too =) The character, Will Smith, is a powerful guy who can withstand bullets and can fly too thinking that he is the only one of his kind he was quite upset. He tried to do good deeds but normally the after effect is worst than him for not helping. All got couple seats, me with hani of cos. Next we went back to our chalet and took turns bathing. Around 5am, lights off. But.. yee siang kept on toking and disturbing the rest. Finally, he slept and the 1st snore started. LOL. Soon, more snores started. God~ There are 4 beds. Shuanna, otrysia & CS one bed, me, hani and Kah hao one bed, yen ann on the floor, the rest on the two joined beds.. Total about 14 people stayed, Sab and her bf went home earlier. Cool~
Cant really sleep cos its cold, turned here and there, cos kah hao so poor thing slept at our foot and we cant stretched our legs. Zzz.I was looking forward to the morning.. So didn’t sleep much, hani sry sry cos I was like disturbing u. Finally.. Its abt 8am, hani said wanna go out walk walk, so I acc him. Ooo.. finally just the 2 of us.. sat at one pavilion and rested over there. After a while, went back again.
Wake up! That’s what we do to wake everyone up. LOL. We played poker and UNO stacko. Was so shaking when its my turn and every attention was on me to treat mac, cos those who failed hav to treat mac breakfast. And yes! I passed and the one beside me got no choice, hav to treat. But in the end, everyone just paid for their own cos it will be too ex for one to pay for all. Its ok =)
After which we went to the Cosplay event, we saw L in the death note, he really behaved like one. There are some other anime characters too. Interesting. Next we went E!Hub again to the arcade and pool game, I didn’t really play cos was tired from lack of sleep. Watched them for a while then went back chalet. Tok abt studies.. NUS lah, SMU lah.. a couple working like me. Kaiyun arh, gonna come back nxt year with a master deg le. LOL. Hav to call her Dr Kai yun le. So fast, about our age only. STRESS. I dun wanna lose out too.. hmm.. I really regret scoring so bad in poly, now wanna go uni is a problem. Zzz. Unless I passed SMU interview, or.. go ACCA with my fren. Accountant leh, oh my even stress. But high pay in market.. see how bah.. Haha..
Before home, shuanna took us to eat chicken rice. The chief was supposed to be working for Chatterbox (Mertius Mandarin) but was retrenched and now became the boss of his own. Mr Chicken Rice, was the restaurant. Ok lo, not bad, I dun really like white chicken tho I noe it’s the oriental traditional chicken rice. But the overall is nice. $3.80, individual plate of chicken, rice and soup.
After which, shuanna drove us home. So cute she is kinda smaller size than me driving MPV. LOL. But was nice of her =) went hani hse for a while then went home le. We went home earlier than some, so we only stayed for 2days1night. Looking forward to 2 years later when yee siang the organizer ORD, may have another one.. ^YEAH^
